9/11 TRIBUTE MUSEUM New York, NY

Architect – Lee H. Skolnick Architecture + Design Partnership

The expanded 9/11 Tribute Museum unveiled newly recreated exhibits depicting the events of 9/11, the recovery and rebuilding, global outreach of 9/11 foundations and “Seeds of Service.” Exhibitions offer visitors an in-depth exploration of the personal stories from family members who lost loved ones, survivors, first responders and people who live and work in Lower Manhattan, learning about their experiences and how they responded to the challenges they faced.

MFLD provided full exhibit lighting to reinforce the chronology of events from a “dark” initial changed world to the “light” of recovery, as well as integral case lighting and illumination for all public spaces, lobby, classrooms and retail areas.
